1) Save instantly with the iOS Shortcut

This is the fastest flow: share from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, or Safari, tap your Save To Sharipe shortcut, and Sharipe saves the link in one step.

How to set it up

  1. 1. Download the shortcut file below on iPhone/iPad.
  2. 2. Open it in the Shortcuts app and tap “Add Shortcut”.
  3. 3. In TikTok/Instagram/Facebook/YouTube, tap Share and choose “Save To Sharipe”.
  4. 4. Sharipe opens and instantly saves the link to your Sharipes timeline.

What happens under the hood

The shortcut URL-encodes the shared link and opens Sharipe with autosave:

/share?url=<encoded-url>&autosave=1

Sharipe receives that URL, creates a saved item immediately, and then fetches metadata asynchronously.

Did you know? You can add Sharipe to your Home Screen and use it like an app.

iOS Safari

On iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Sharipe in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Scroll and tap 'Add to Home Screen'.
  4. Name it 'Sharipe' and tap Add.

Tip: Pin Sharipe so saving recipes is one tap away. You can now launch Sharipe from your Home Screen like an app.

Android Chrome

On Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Sharipe in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮).
  3. Tap 'Add to Home screen' or 'Install app' (if shown).
  4. Confirm.

Tip: Pin Sharipe so saving recipes is one tap away. Once installed, Sharipe opens in an app-like window.

Home Screen install depends on browser support. Sharipe is a mobile-first web app.
